Naag Lok Ke Raja Basik Ki Kahani Seventh Part-7

भूरिया नाग पृथ्वीलोक की एक लंबी यात्रा करते हुए राजा पारिक की नगरी में पहुंच गया और एक ब्राह्मण का भेष बनाकर बाजार व गलियों में भ्रमण कर नगरी का जायजा लेने लगा। नगरी को बारिकी से परकते वक्त भूरिया नाग ने महसूस किया नगरी के बाजारों में काफी चहल-पहल थी। सभी लोग अपने रोजमर्रा के कार्यो में व्यस्त थे, कहने का मतलब सभी लोग खुश थे। ऐसा प्रतीत हो रहा था मानो इस नगरी में कोई दुख नाम की चीज ही ना हो।

पारिक की नगरी की इस अवधारणा ने भूरिया ना को काफी आकर्षित किया। लेकिन इन सब को एकतरफा रखते हुए भूरिया नाग अपने काम को अंजाम देने में जुट गया। अंजाम था राजा पारिक व उसके खानदान का खात्मा इसीलिए वह अंधेरा होने का इंतजार करने लगा।

थोड़ी देर बाद सूर्यास्त होने लगा और अंधेरे की काली छाया नगरी को चारों तरफ से घेरने लगी किंतु इस बार काली छाया लेकर आई थी उन सब का खात्मा जिससे वे सब अभी अनजान थे। अंधेरा होने के बाद भूरिया नाग महल के पीछे गया और चारों तरफ देखकर तसल्ली कि, की यह कार्य करते हुए उसे कोई देख तो नहीं रहा फिर वह अपने असली रूप यानी नाग बनकर महल में प्रवेश कर गया।

नाग के रूप में भूरिया ने सबसे पहले राजा पारिक के कक्ष में प्रवेश किया और राजा व रानी को ढस लिया फिर वह राजकुमार परीक्षित के कक्ष में गया और उन्हें भी ढस लिया। उसके बाद भूरिया नाग हर उस कक्ष में गया जहां राजा का कोई करीबी रहता था और उन सभी को मौत के घाट उतार दिया।

हालांकि भूरिया नाग को नहीं पता था कि राजकुमारी निहालदे स्वयं अपनी मर्जी से राजकुमार परीक्षित के साथ आई थी इसीलिए वह राजकुमारी निहालदे के पास गया और बोला, ‘पुत्री निहालदे मैं उन सभी दुश्मनों को मौत के घाट उतार आया हूं जो तुम्हारा जबरदस्ती अपहरण कर लाए थे। अब तुम सुरक्षित मेरे साथ नागलोक वापस चल सकती हो, वहां सब तुम्हारी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं।’

अपने चाचा भूरिया नाग के मुख से ऐसा अशुभ समाचार सुनकर राजकुमारी निहालदे के हाथ पैर घबराहट के मारे फूलने लगे थे। वह जोर – जोर से रोने लगी और रोते हुए बोली, ‘अरे पापी ये तूने क्या कर दिया, मेरी पूरी की पूरी गृहस्ती ही उजाड़ दी, कौन कहता है राजकुमार परीक्षित मुझे जबरदस्ती ले आए थे, मैं स्वयं अपनी मर्जी से उनके साथ आई थी। पापी क्या तू यह नहीं जानता कि ससुराल से दुल्हन की केवल अर्थी ही निकल सकती है, इस अनर्थ के लिए मैं तुझे कभी भी क्षमा नहीं करूंगी।’

इतनी बात सुनकर भूरिया नाग बुरी तरह से घबरा गया और तुरंत नाग लोक की ओर चल दिया। वहां निहालदे कर रोती रही।

नागलोक पहुंचते ही वह सबसे पहले दरबार में गया, जहां राजा बासिक बड़ी बेचैनी से उसकी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे। भूरिया को दरबार में देखकर राजा बासिक के चेहरे पर खुशी की मुस्कान आ गई और बोले, ‘भूरिया हमारी पुत्री निहालदे कहां है, जल्दी बताओ हमें बेचैनी सी हो रही है ?’

अपनी ही भतीजी के मुख से ऐसे कटीले शब्द सुनकर भूरिया नाग का ह्रदय छल्ली हो चुका था अपने निराश मन से वह बोला, ‘महाराज मैंने राजा पारिक और उसके सारे खानदान को मौत के घाट उतार दिया किंतु…… फिर भूरिया ने नगरी में जो भी घटना घटी वह सारी राजा बासिक को सुना दी।’

भूरिया की सारी बातें सुनने के बाद राजा बासिक आग बबूला हो गए और बोले, ‘यह क्या कह रहा है तू भूरिया, क्या वास्तव में हमारी पुत्री ने आने से इंकार कर दिया ?’

भूरिया नाग – मुझे खेद है यह कहते हुए किंतु यही सत्य है महाराज।

यह सारी वार्ता सभा में बैठे पंडित भी सुन रहे थे तो उनमें से एक ने कहां, ‘महाराज आपकी वार्ता में दखल देने के लिए क्षमा करें, किंतु मैं कुछ कहना चाहता हूं।’

राजा बासिक – बोलिए पंडित जी आप क्या कहना चाहते हैं ?

पंडित – महाराज मैं कहना चाहता हूं कि भूरिया नाग ने वहां जो भी किया वह सब व्यर्थ है। इसका कोई फायदा नहीं होने वाला।

राजा बासिक – व्यर्थ है, आप कहना क्या चाहते हो ब्राह्मण ?

पंडित – महाराज पृथ्वी लोक पर धन्तर नाम का वैद है, जो सांप के काटे हुए को कभी नहीं मरने देता, केवल उसके देखने मात्र से ही घातक से घातक नाग का विष उतर जाता है।

राजा बासिक – इसका मतलब वह वेद सब को पुनर्जीवित कर देगा।

पूरे दरबार में सन्नाटा सा छा गया। नाग लोग जहां राजा पारिक व राजकुमार परीक्षित की मृत्यु की खुशखबरी मनाई जानी थी केवल धन्तर वैद के नाम से ही उन सबके होश उड़ चुके थे।

उधर निहालदे के जोर – जोर से चिल्लाने पर धीरे-धीरे सभी मंत्री गण राजा पारिक के कक्ष में एकत्रित होने लगे। राजा – रानी का ऐसा हाल देखकर सबके होश उड़ चुके थे। महल में मातम सा छा गया था।

तभी उनमें से किसी ने धन्तर वैद का जिक्र किया, अपने राजा- रानी और राजकुमार के प्राण बचाने के लिए सभी मंत्री गण वेद के आश्रम की ओर दौड़ पड़े।

( दोस्तों हम आपको बता दें कि धन्तर वैद को उस समय देवताओं का वरदान प्राप्त था, यदि उनकी नजर सांप के काटे हुए आदमी पर पड़ जाए तो जहर स्वयं ही खत्म हो जाता था। इसी कारण धन्तर वैद के 1600 शिष्य थे जो उनसे प्रतिदिन शिक्षा लेते थे। )

मंत्री – गण घबराते हुए धन्तर वैद के आश्रम पहुंचे और बोले, ‘वैद जी गजब हो गया राजा पारिक व उनके सारे परिवार को किसी जहरीले नाग ने ढस लिया, वे सभी बेसुद पड़े हुए हैं और उनके मुंह से झाग भी निकल रहा है, कृपा आप जल्दी चलिए।’

इतना सुनते ही धन्तर वैद तुरंत खड़े हो गए और अपने शिष्यों से बोले, ‘जल्दी चलो हमें राजा पारिक की नगरी में पहुंचना होगा।’

थोड़ी देर बाद सभी महल पहुंच गए, जब धन्तर वैद राजा पारिक के कक्ष में पहुंचे तो उन्होंने तुरंत नाक के काटे हुए स्थान पर अपनी दृष्टि डाली और राजा पारिक व रानी उठ खड़े हुए, जैसे कुछ हुआ ही ना हो। राजा और रानी अपने आप को बिल्कुल स्वस्थ महसूस कर रहे थे इसी प्रकार धन्तर वैद ने सभी को पहले की तरह स्वस्थ कर दिया।

राजा पारिक – वैद जी आपका बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद यदि आज आप नहीं होते तो हमारा तो पूरा परिवार ही खत्म हो चुका था।

धन्तर वैद – किंतु महाराज आपने ऐसा कौन – सा पाप कर दिया कि वह नाग आपके पूरे परिवार को ही समाप्त करना चाहता है।

फिर राजा पारिक ने धन्तर वैद को राजा बासिक के साथ हुई खुद की मुलाकात और राजकुमारी निहालदे को लाने तक की सारी कहानी बता दी।

सारी कहानी ध्यान से सुनने के बाद धन्तर वैद बोले, ‘महाराज जो भी हुआ है बहुत बुरा हुआ है, शायद आप नहीं जानते कि राजा बासिक बड़ा ही जिद्दी है, वह अपनी दुश्मनी निकालने के लिए किसी भी हद तक जा सकता है और मैं भी आपके साथ ज्यादा समय तक नहीं रह सकता क्योंकि मैं पूरी पृथ्वी पर भ्रमण करता हूं यदि मैं आपको समय पर नहीं मिला तो कुछ भी हो सकता है।’

राजा पारिक – तो वैध जी कृपा आप ही इसका कोई समाधान निकालिए।

धन्तर वैद – देखिए महाराज आप सभी को नाग लोक से तब तक खतरा है जब तक राजकुमार परीक्षित व राजकुमारी निहालदे आपके साथ रहते हैं यदि आप उन्हें किसी सुरक्षित स्थान पर भेज दे तो आपकी समस्या का समाधान हो सकता है।

राजा पारिक – किंतु महाराज पृथ्वी लोक पर ऐसा कौन – सा स्थान हो सकता है जहां नाग ना पहुंच सके।

धन्तर वैद – महाराज आप समुद्र के बीच में एक कंचन महल बनवाइए और राजकुमार परीक्षित व राजकुमारी निहालदे को उस महल में भेज दीजिए क्योंकि नाग पानी में नहीं घुसते और यदि घुसे तो डूब कर मर जाएंगे। चूंकि नागों की दुश्मनी परीक्षित से है इसीलिए वे सब परीक्षित को मारना चाहते हैं और हमारे ख्याल से वे अब आपको कोई हानि नहीं पहुंचाएंगे और जब उन्हें मालूम होगा कि राजकुमार परीक्षित व निहालदे कंचल महल में रहने लगे हैं तो आपकी नगरी में वे आएंगे ही नहीं क्योंकि उनका मकसद होगा कंचन महल।

राजा पारिक – जैसी आपकी आज्ञा वैदराज हम कल से ही समुद्र के बीच में कंचन महल का निर्माण आरंभ करवा देंगे किंतु जब तक कंचन महल बनकर तैयार नहीं हो जाता कृपा तब तक आप हमारे साथ ही रहिए। आपको महल कि सारी सुविधाएं मुहैया कराई जाएगी।

धन्तर वैद – ठीक है महाराज।

अगली सुबह ही समुद्र में कंचन महल का निर्माण आरंभ कर दिया गया। जब महल बनकर तैयार हो गया तो राजकुमार परीक्षित और निहालदे को कंचन महल में रहने के लिए भेज दिया गया…..
